Are you feeling overwhelmed as a parent, constantly thinking or searching for what’s wrong with your child?
You’re not alone.
Many parents find themselves caught in a cycle of labeling their children, which can lead to misunderstandings and strained relationships.
But it doesn’t have to be this way!
Here are some common pain points parents face, along with solutions offered in our Label-Free Parenting program:
- Do you feel the need to keep your child safe because the world is a scary, dangerous place?
Your children pick up on your anxiety about the world which makes them scared and anxious. Learn how to manage your own anxiety which has the effect of calming your child and giving them him/her the opportunity to reduce their own anxiety. - Are you afraid that any possible mistake or failure by your child is BAD and needs to be avoided at all costs?
Gain confidence in understanding that mistakes lead to grit and mental fitness. - Do you judge your child on his/her shortcomings compared to an ideal standard?
Learn what happiness for your child really is and how to help them become happy AND successful. - Do you find yourself constantly blowing up at your child?
Learn how to manage your emotions and focus on what is going right instead of what is going wrong with your child. This will bring happiness and peace to you both. - Does your love for your child often depend on his/her performance?
Begin to understand what unconditional love really is. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any rules or consequences, but rather that you love them not for what they achieve but for whom they really are. - Are you uncomfortable with your child's “messy” emotions?
Kids have a lot of messy emotions and they know how to trigger you with them. You’ll gain insight into how to recognize these emotions and triggers and how you can respond, not react, appropriately. - Are you micromanaging your child’s life through too many rules or guardrails?
My program can help you feel comfortable giving your kids the freedoms they need within reasonable boundaries. Children thrive when they are allowed a certain amount of independence within the family system. - Is everything that your child does “not good enough”?
Are you a bit of a stickler? Everything has to be perfect, even your child? Through the Label-Free parenting program you will be able to rein in your “stickler” which will help your child feel happy inside and not less than. - Do you sometimes feel that you have a hands-off approach to your child and avoid having important conversations with him/her?
I can help you gain the confidence you need in having those difficult and important conversations with you child which will open up lines of communication with you that your kids really need. - Is it important for your child to like you? Ever feel that your child hates you?
Do you constantly ask your child if he/she “loves mama” or “loves daddy”? Through my program you will learn to manage your feelings when your child uses the “I hate you . . . “ line to get a rise out of you.
